That's right!!! We are back in action!! We have a new project, We are Still...! which will be a joint with Entropy Manga. We are also looking into getting another project, but we need korean translators to make it happen. Please contact genkicoll or MegKF in #TrapNest@irc.irchighway.net if you can help.

We've officially decided to drop all the licensed manhwa, You're So Cool, Kiss Me Princess and Hissing. TrapNest will be on hiatus until some family issues are resolved. In the meantime if you have a manhwa project that is unlicensed in the United Stated feel free to contact us as we would like to find some new projects. We also need korean translators for these future projects, so please, if you can translate for us, contact genkicoll or MegKF in #TrapNest@irc.irchighway.net.

*sigh* Kaiya has vanished again, I guess that's kind of obvious... I'm just updating to let you know that I've recently learned that Kiss Me Princess is also licensed, although this is licensed by Net Comics. (The other titles, according to amazon, are licensed by Ice Kunion.) They are calling it Boy Princess. Vol 1 came out in January and Vol 2 comes out in April. I have no idea what to do about this... All our current projects are licensed and I can't find Kaiya or Genkicoll. *sigh*

We released You're So Cool Volume 4 Chapter 1 a few weeks ago. If you haven't yet, go check it out~!

Yes, yes, I know. You're so cool and Hissing have both been licensed but we have decided to complete volume 4 of YSC and volume 1 of Hissing.

I took a long vacation from TrapNest and yes, now I'm back. I want to thank Genkicoll, MegKF, Saga, Moonies, and Sukey for sticking around.

I've decided to drop some projects so we can concentrate on completing YSC and KMP. I need translators for both YSC and KMP- I lost all my files so we have to start from scratch. If you have experience, please contact me at trapnest@trapnest.net or pm me.

Genkicoll got the bonus artwork released from vol 1 of You're So Cool out. Which is so cool. ^__^ Come by our IRC channel - #TrapNest@irc.irchighway.net to get it. I'm glad Genkicoll is feeling better. (I didn't know she was sick...) And hopefully Kaiya will return once her real life issues have resolved themselves. We can't release any actual chapters until Kaiya resurfaces, but we are alive.

WAH!! Kaiya came back on May 13 and then left again!! I'm hoping she'll come back soon and we can make some releases. She is the final OK person so nothing gets released without her say-so. She has been updated on the status of the projects.
I check the last shoutbox/comments page occationally but I don't feel comfortable making relpies there when I don't know how often, if at all, people check it. For those of you still trying to get some of our releases, all of them are shared in our irc channel- #TrapNest@irchighway.net. For those of you who don't know- Korean manhwa are read left to right like american comics so please don't get confused reading them. I don't know how to add pics to the gallery or I would add some myself... Sorry ^_^;; Thank you everyone who has given us feedback and super thanks to Terri who likes that layouts I made and I'm sure Kaiya is happy people like the name she picked for this scanlation group. ^__^ I think that's everything I can answer that was in the shoutbox.

"Nan Woo, a sincere school girl, had a simple dream of having a happy family, good relationships with her friends, and a kind boyfriend. That was all she asked for, and then finally her dream came true. She got the chance to go out with Ryu Seung Ha, the most popular boy at her school; however, this happiness didn't last long. When Seung Ha took off his mask, Nan Woo discovered something unbelievable. His handsome features hid his pyschotic, retarded double-faced person. "Yes, running away is the only way" is what Nan Woo believed, but she got caught in no time by Seung Ha. Nan Woo's life then becomes miserable. She does all the chores, doesn't get to hang out with her friends, packs lunch for him... Whether this is dating a guy or getting trained is the question...?! But seeing Seung Ha get caught in the midst of thinking seriously... Hearing him say things from the bottom of his heart, why does this bother Nan Woo so much? Nan Woo, could it be...?!"

YEAH! The first chapter of volume 2 of You're So Cool is out!! It's in our channel #TrapNest@irc.irchighway.net.

Summary of Volume 1: Everyone as some point wants to have a new beginning when entering high school. Our main female character Jung Nan Woo, was no different. Although she's very small, clumsy and a troublemaker, she is free to dream with burning abition of having a sweet future with her classmate, the super cool prince Ryu Seung Ha. His lonely cry of, "Is there a person who wil love me as I am" and Jung Nan Woo's screams of "ME! ME! ME!" turn into a recklass disaster on their first date. She got caught in the hands of an ill-mannered, abusive and two-faced bastard who is lioving a double life. But there's no use in regretting that now. It's been done and is over with... A-hah, what's in store for Jung Nan Woo in the future!!

They've been very supportive since the beginning and I can honestly say that if it weren't for them TrapNest would not have been able to go this far. Please help support this manhwaga by purchasing this and/or other manhwas by them. Do not alter the scanlations in any way without permission from TrapNest Staff. To distribute outside of IRC or to use the scans and/or translations for these manhwas please contact TrapNest staff for permission. In the event a manhwa becomes licensed in your country please cease distribution of it.

Yesterday I convinced Kaiya that I could edit for her before I have to go back to my university. We also decided that once the website was up and running for general viewing that she would be the sole updator and that I'll go back to just designing the layouts. The idea to vote over future layouts is now a must for the IRC channel. With input from Kaiya and Genkicoll, about what they thought, our disclaimer is now up on the projects page.

I've been added to the staff page as official layout designer. The IRC channel is now up it's at #TrapNest@IRCHighway.net. Hopefully the first release will be soon. EDITORS ARE REALLY REALLY NEEDED!!

Kaiya has spoken!! Layout #3, the lovely pink layout featuring the image from the cover of MakSang MakHa Vol 4, is the winner of being the very first layout for TrapNest. There are screenshots of all 5 of the choices in the layouts link.

I've decided to experiment and make several other TrapNest layouts for Kaiya to choose from so that I'll know she'll be happy. I really feel 'layout 1' isn't all I'm capable of doing.

VICTORY!! I showed screenshots of all the pages to Kaiya and she LOVED them. ^_____^ All Kaiya wanted me to change was some stuff on the staff page and she wanted me to add a downloads page. She also sent me the rest of the covers and ISBNs for the projects and it turns out she forgot to mention one of the projects when she listed them all for me a few days ago. Also Korean-Movies isn't an affiliate until she talks to Kamekai, the new head of Korean-Movies. And of course we have to add the new manga release tracker to the links page too. I also talked her into letting me make a layout history page even though this is the first layout 'cause I thought it would be cute to let you all see how this layout evolved.

My friend got back to me and the webhost she uses, it looks pretty good. All I need is the rest of the information for the projects page and I can send the layout to Kaiya to let me know if she wants anything changed. Still haven't found out how to chmod in windows... >.<


July 19 (Update: MegKF)

Kaiya sent me the list of staff and projects so those pages could be worked on. She's also decided she definetly prefers TrapNest as one word. Her wish is my command. Hehe. I also have the links she wants up with the buttons, some of them had to be modified to fit the default size of the buttons most people use. Now I just needs the ISBNs, summaries and the covers for the rest of the projects. I can't seem to get a shoutox working but I'll keep trying. I just need to find out to chmod in Windows XP. And I asked a friend about her webhost in the hopes the it would help Kaiya get the site up as soon as it's finished.

Kaiya likes the new layout so I've started to make the other pages. I hope she likes all the pages as much as the initial page. Hehe. She says she will. ^__^ She's also requested a shoutbox, I'll try my best but they aren't normally made for html tables.
